Andrew Wasmuth, PhD

Andrew Wasmuth, PhD is a research scientist at the Organic Chemistry Collaborative Center (OCCC) at Columbia University Medical Center, where he develops novel compounds in collaboration with both industry and academic partners. Andrew led the development of Applied Therapeutics’ lead compound and platform series. His experience in medicinal chemistry spans across a wide range of therapeutic indications, including diabetes, myocardial infarction, tuberculosis, cancer, pain, and wound healing. He received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh.
